Thank you, Clay Rivers. If my words do that, then I am achieving one of my goals.

One of the outcomes I hope for this series is that it will help people understand what their friends who are undergoing cancer treatment might be experiencing but not talking about. It might help them be more the friend they want to be.

I know I did not tell my friends these things at the time. It all seemed too much, too gross, too scary, too weak, too depressing, too private … you get the idea.
