I will be reserving judgement on whether “electing a black man for POTUS has done more harm for black people than good” for when I hear that coming from a largish portion of the black population, Larry. (If you are using an white-guy avatar for your photo and are actually black, do let me know.)

I never said this was a gender race. It is not for me, although I realize it is for some.

As for voting for someone I don’t really believe in for POTUS, I say, “Welcome to my life.”

I haven’t “really believed” in too many presidential candidates in my life (10 elections so far). It comes down picking what I believe to be the best choice from the selection I have been given.
