I find it fascinating that someone would take the time out of their day to negatively comment on something benign. It makes me wonder if the light is, in fact, feeling threatening to this person, that they are hiding their discomfort behind snark.

Whatever any of us expresses says far more about ourselves than it does about the subject matter of a piece. I am saddened that this person lives from a place that compels her do this.

Now you’re going to think I’m all churchy, and I don’t want you to get the wrong impression. I’m not churchy at all. But, I’m going to wing another biblical quote out here before I turn in, because it’s one I love.

It is not what enters into the mouth that defiles the man, but what proceeds out of the mouth, this defiles the man. — Matthew 15:11

(And in case any of you are history buffs, I have been told this quote is the reason Christians don’t follow the Jewish dietary laws. I don’t know if this is true, but it makes sense.)
